Position Summary:
As an Expatriate Translator & Project Liaison, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive linguistic support, business coordination, cross-cultural communication, and localization for our overseas projects. You will act as a vital bridge between our headquarters, local partners, and on-site teams to ensure effective communication, regulatory compliance, and the stable progression of our international business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Spectrum Linguistic Support
- Provide high-level bidirectional interpretation (Chinese ↔ Turkish/German/Spanish) for business negotiations, conferences, technical briefings, and on-site coordination.
- Manage professional written translation of legal contracts, technical manuals, regulatory documents, and marketing materials.
- Develop and maintain professional terminology databases for target languages to ensure accuracy and consistency across all communications.

Business & Project Liaison
- Participate in early-stage business negotiations and project assessments, providing linguistic expertise and insights into local business conventions and policies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for local partners, suppliers, government agencies, and other stakeholders to align requirements and facilitate information flow.

Project Implementation & Operations
- Lead communication and coordination for overseas projects, tracking milestones and coordinating resources between headquarters and the local site.
- Assist the local team with daily operations, meeting organization, and travel logistics to ensure smooth office functionality.

Localization & Compliance Management
- Translate headquarters' management standards and quality protocols into actionable plans that comply with local laws and business customs.
- Research local compliance policies and industry rules to mitigate cross-border operational risks.

Risk & Issue Management
- Proactively identify and resolve risks related to cross-cultural communication, compliance, lead times, and contractual disputes.
- Perform post-project reviews on critical issues to accumulate institutional knowledge for overseas operations and cross-cultural collaboration.
Requirements

Experience: 3+ years of full-time experience in translation or business liaison roles. Experience in manufacturing, international trade, or supply chain industries is highly preferred.

Language Skills: Near-native fluency in the target language (Turkish, German, or Spanish) and solid proficiency in Chinese. Capable of handling complex business, technical, and legal content. Top-tier professional language certifications are required.

Background: Previous experience living or working abroad is a significant plus.

Mobility: Willingness to be stationed abroad for long-term assignments. Ability to work effectively in cross-cultural environments and independently drive business results on the front line.
